For an emergency with your gas supply please call 0800 111 999. This is a 24 hour line you can call at any time.
When should you call?
If you can smell gas
If you think there is a gas leak you should open all doors and windows and turn off any naked flames (this includes cigarettes) and then make the call
If you think there is a problem with Carbon Monoxide you need to open all the doors and windows and then make the call
Electric Emergency
Your electricity is supplied by your local network operator. If you have an urgent problem with your electricity, it is them you will need to call. They will be able to assist if there is an emergency related to your lack of electricity or there has been a power cut at your location. You can find out who is responsible for your electricity by taking a look at your latest bill. The Distributor Identifier Number, which informs you who your operator is, will be located at the bottom left of the ‘S’ grid. You can match the number to the table below:
